During a very poor housing market, one would think it unwise to be moving anywhere. In the blogosphere, however, it’s quite different.

For one thing, the only packing that is required involves clicking “export” and downloading a file, logging on to the new blog and clicking “import.” It’s legions easier than going through and putting all of your worldly possessions into cardboard boxes, marking “FRAGILE” on the more breakable items, and driving them, sometimes cross-country, in the back of a moving van, where you arrive to find that your priceless china set has been obliterated. Blog posts aren’t that breakable. Neither are comments.

I’ve decided to move my blog over to the same server as my website, http://www.flibbypiedesign.net/. My blog is now, www.flibbypiedesign.net/blog. Easy enough, right?

I also have a new email address, katie@flibbypiedesign.net. Which will eventually take the place of my flibbypie at yahoo.com address. But I’m still working out the kinks… As of now, I can receive email, but I can’t send email. I’m working on it.
